THE STORY OF BECOMING
There are moments in life when everything seems still, yet something inside us is already changing. BECOMING was born in one of those moments, somewhere between what had already been and what had not yet taken shape. I was thinking about how often we leave parts of ourselves behind without even noticing, carrying fragments of who we were while slowly becoming something new.
That is exactly why I chose the title BECOMING. Because life is never only about what we are now.
It is also about what we are leaving behind, what we are becoming, and what we may become next. Transformation does not always arrive loudly. Sometimes it happens almost in silence, through small choices, unexpected emotions, endings we did not foresee and beginnings we cannot yet name.
While creating this work, I kept returning to the idea that perhaps life is not about reaching a final version of ourselves. Perhaps there is no final version at all. We are constantly moving, changing, losing, discovering, becoming.
I don’t want to explain what should be seen inside this work, because I believe every person should be free to find their own meaning within it. I only know the place from which it was born. The rest belongs to whoever stands before it. Perhaps we are not meant to arrive. Perhaps we are only meant to become.
