Each work is conceived as a singular encounter between instinct, movement and matter. This page answers the questions most often asked by those considering welcoming an Elara Trace artwork into their collection.

IS EVERY ELARA TRACE ARTWORK UNIQUE?

Yes. Every original is created as a one-of-one work and will never be reproduced. Even when colours, emotions or elements from an earlier piece inspire a private commission, the resulting artwork will always have its own identity. No two works will ever be identical or deliberately recreated.

HOW CAN I ACQUIRE AN AVAILABLE ARTWORK?

Available works can be discovered through the Collection. Depending on the artwork, it may be acquired directly through the website or privately by contacting Elara Trace. If you would like further information before making your decision, you are welcome to request details about the work, its story, materials, dimensions or delivery.

CAN AN ARTWORK BE RESERVED?

An artwork can be reserved after an initial payment has been received and confirmed. Until that moment, it remains publicly available and may be acquired directly through the website by another collector. Once reserved, the artwork is withdrawn from the market and held exclusively for you according to the privately agreed terms.

IS IT POSSIBLE TO PAY IN INSTALMENTS?

Yes. A personalised payment plan can be arranged privately for selected works. An initial payment confirms the commitment and allows the artwork to be reserved, while the remaining balance is divided according to the agreed schedule. Each payment is documented by an invoice, and the artwork is shipped after the full amount has been completed.

WHAT IS THE PRIVATE NFC EXPERIENCE?

Each new original artwork includes a discreet NFC tag placed on its reverse. By bringing a compatible smartphone close to it, the collector enters a private, unlisted digital space created exclusively for them and for that specific work. Inside, they may discover unpublished photographs of the artwork, images and videos of Elara with the piece, a personal message of gratitude, private gifts and further details that will remain a surprise until the experience is opened. This space continues to evolve even after the artwork has reached its new home: from time to time, Elara may add new gifts and exclusive content available only through that work’s private page. Whenever something new is added, the collector will be personally informed. It is a living and intimate connection between the artist, the artwork and the person who chose it.

DOES EVERY ARTWORK INCLUDE A CREATIVE PROCESS VIDEO?

Not every artwork is accompanied by a complete process video. When one is available, this is specified on the artwork page or communicated privately. The collector will receive access to the original footage as part of the work’s personal archive, offering a closer view of the gestures, decisions and moments through which the piece came into existence.

WHAT IS INCLUDED WITH AN ORIGINAL ARTWORK?

Every original artwork is accompanied by a signed Certificate of Authenticity containing its title, dimensions, technique, date and identifying details. The work is carefully prepared by hand and professionally packaged for transport. Any additional private content or process material connected to the artwork will be specified separately.

DO YOU SHIP INTERNATIONALLY?

Yes. Elara Trace artworks can be shipped worldwide using professional protective packaging and insured delivery whenever available. Shipping costs vary according to the dimensions of the work and its destination. Any customs duties, import taxes or local charges required outside the European Union remain the responsibility of the recipient.

CAN I COMMISSION A PRIVATE ARTWORK?

Yes. A limited number of private commissions are accepted. The process begins with a personal conversation about dimensions, atmosphere, palette and the emotion you would like the work to carry. A commission is never a reproduction of an existing piece: it is an original artwork created exclusively for you while preserving Elara Trace’s artistic freedom and visual language.

WHAT HAPPENS IF AN ARTWORK ARRIVES DAMAGED?

Every artwork is professionally packaged and insured for its full declared value during transport. In the unlikely event that damage occurs, please contact Elara immediately and keep all the original packaging, providing photographs of the artwork and parcel. The case will be handled directly with the carrier and the most appropriate solution will be identified according to the circumstances.

CAN A SOLD ARTWORK BE RECREATED?

No. A sold work belongs to a precise and unrepeatable moment and will never be copied. It may be possible to commission a new work inspired by a particular atmosphere, palette or emotion, but the composition, gestures and final identity will always be different. The uniqueness of every original remains protected.

CAN I PREVIEW AN ARTWORK IN A VIRTUAL SPACE?

Selected works may be viewed through the Elara Trace virtual exhibition or visualised in an interior setting when available. These digital previews are intended to help you understand scale and atmosphere, although colours, texture and material depth can only be fully experienced in the presence of the original artwork.
