THE STORY OF THE OCEANIC BREATH

THE OCEANIC BREATH was born from my love for the sea, for nature, and for that feeling of freedom I find whenever I am close to water. Green has always had a particular effect on me, something calming but alive, and while I was creating this work I felt an emotion that was almost impossible to explain.

At a certain point, I had the strange sensation of being underwater. Not literally, but emotionally. As if everything around me had become softer, quieter, suspended. The movement of the color started to feel like currents, like something breathing slowly beneath the surface.

That is where the title THE OCEANIC BREATH came from. For me, it is the breath of something immense and alive, something that surrounds you without asking to be understood. I wanted the painting to keep that feeling of depth, movement and silence, without forcing it into a single image.

What fascinates me is that many people see something completely different. Some see leaves emerging from water, others see nature from above, others simply see movement and color. I love that. My experience belongs to the moment in which I created it. What appears afterwards belongs to the person who looks at it.
