Dopo il primo COLLISION, volevo scoprire cosa avrebbe lasciato un nuovo incontro tra il mio corpo, il colore e la tela. Il movimento poteva essere familiare. Il risultato non avrebbe mai potuto essere lo stesso.<\/p><p>Ho creato quest\u2019opera attraverso i calci, lasciando che ogni impatto distribuisse il colore sulla superficie. Potevo scegliere dove colpire, ma non decidere completamente cosa sarebbe accaduto dopo. I colori si incontravano, si sovrapponevano e sfuggivano al punto di contatto. Ogni movimento lasciava qualcosa con cui il successivo avrebbe dovuto confrontarsi.<\/p><p>Sul fondo nero, le tracce si raccolgono in un ritmo fitto di giallo, verde, turchese e rosso. Alcune sembrano quasi floreali, come se dalla forza che le ha create fosse emerso qualcosa di delicato. Sotto, lunghe colature accompagnano il colore verso il basso, prolungando il gesto quando il mio corpo si era gi\u00e0 allontanato.<\/p><p>\u00c8 un rapporto che mi interessa: un impatto improvviso pu\u00f2 lasciare qualcosa di inaspettatamente gentile. Guardando COLLISION II, riconosco ancora l\u2019energia fisica della sua creazione, ma al suo interno trovo anche momenti di quiete. Il quadro custodisce entrambe le cose.<\/p><p>Prima ancora che avessi deciso come presentarla al mondo, il collezionista del primo COLLISION l\u2019ha voluta nella sua collezione. Sapere che queste due opere sarebbero rimaste insieme ha dato a questo secondo capitolo un significato che non avrei potuto progettare.
