Mia madre e mia nonna dipingevano e, fin da piccola, ho scoperto che i colori potevano esprimere emozioni molto prima delle parole. Come per molte persone, la storia della mia famiglia non \u00e8 stata una linea retta. La vita mi ha plasmata attraverso cambiamenti, assenze ed esperienze che mi hanno insegnato a guardare il mondo con maggiore sensibilit\u00e0. Piuttosto che definirmi, mi hanno spinta a cercare la mia voce.<\/p><p>Per anni non mi interessava semplicemente dipingere. Volevo creare un linguaggio che appartenesse solo a me. Con il tempo, ho iniziato a vedere il mio stesso corpo come parte dell\u2019opera. Le persone spesso facevano complimenti ai miei piedi. Era qualcosa che mi faceva sempre sorridere, finch\u00e9 un giorno un pensiero semplice ha cambiato tutto: perch\u00e9 usare un pennello quando potevo dipingere con una parte di me stessa? Quella domanda \u00e8 diventata l\u2019inizio del mio percorso artistico. Oggi, ogni quadro nasce dal contatto diretto tra il mio corpo e la tela. Ogni impronta cattura un movimento reale. Ogni segno conserva un momento unico che non potr\u00e0 mai essere ripetuto esattamente nello stesso modo.<\/p><p>Accanto alla pittura, la musica \u00e8 sempre stata un\u2019altra parte essenziale di ci\u00f2 che sono. Amo cantare fin da quando ero bambina e credo che una voce possa dipingere emozioni con la stessa forza del colore. Alcune delle mie opere nascono mentre canto, lasciando che movimento, suono e pittura si fondano in un unico gesto creativo.<\/p><p>Non creo arte per sorprendere le persone. La creo per lasciare qualcosa di autentico, per ricordarci che ogni essere umano spera di lasciare una traccia della propria esistenza. Ogni artista lascia una firma.
